ON the Coronado Bridge & Not In A Car!

In the early hours on May 19th, 2024 I photographed the Navy’s 37th Bay Bridge Run/Walk for FinisherPix. My photo spot was actually on the Coronado Bridge and it was super cool to be posted up there.

I definitely wanted to take the opportunity to take some shots from my viewpoint since there is no other way I’d be able to get these shots from this exact spot (this is normally where cars drive over the bridge and the road was closed for the race).

Antonio Maristela took the photo of me on the bridge from where we were stationed catching runners as they crossed our path. I could feel the bridge slightly moving which was pretty trippy. The morning was pretty overcast and these black and white photos do it justice to set the mood.
